MY BIRTHDAY

I'm happy to be a year older
Today, Saturday is my birthday
The day of the week I was truly born
Now in history it’s so long gone

All praise and thanks be unto you Lord
For my life achievement is due to your glory
Born as my mum's third son, I'm now her third born
That’s my birthday; just like history, its so long gone

If I'm asked what I recall about my first day,
I'll rightly say it was my birthday and still is my birthday
My birthday is what it is and exactly what I say it is; history
And just like history, my birthday repeats itself
