SWEET TO SOUR TURNED BITTER

He had a life, money kids and wife
He had options; life or death
To live or leave
Success or failure; to stand or fall
He took a chance and chose them all

To him life was like a buffet
Where he had it all
He could serve himself and do them all
Lifestyle so positive later turned negative
A family where fidelity reigned
Was where debauchery came

From drinking to drunken,
Fussing and fighting
He stormed out every night digging for something
Day after day was how he lived
Till he tasted the truth so bitter

From sweet to sour, he tested positive
And bedridden the next hour
He had the money, wished for the start
But had no power
If only had he stayed positive
May he have tested negative
