THANK YOU LORD

Grateful to God for this very day
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And like every other day,
I get to my knees and pray

Thank you Lord is what I say,
For this very faithful day
I will thrive off whatever today
Because your mercy endures forever I say

Grant me the strength to overcome today
And walk only in a righteous way
This is what I’ll always say
If I live to see another day
